11/21/9 3:03 PM  peachpye I've never been to Wisconsin. I was just through ny,
                          ohio, tenessee,kentucky, georgia ... on my way to a
                          convention in Atlanta. I enjoyed the chance to see the
                          country a bit. Before that, I had only been to Maine
                          and Florida. 
                          That is the great thing about breaks ... I am looking
                          forward to ours so I can work on the book a bit ...
                          btw it is called "Pheonix rising"

                          one last year was horrid. i like the cleaness of this
                          one, and the fact that there are a lot of associated
                          links. the designer is just trying to get some more
                          pictures in the text. 
                          were are you located?

                          telling.  i always associate pointilism with people
                          like escher and seurat -- people who loved art as much
                          as they were interested in mathematics. so i guess
                          they seem to 'fit' you. excuse me for presuming so
                          much!

                          at the Press office right now. If you are bored, you

                          Helicon site. I liked the name, as it reminded me of
                          Halcyon, no not the drug. My grandfather in India
                          named his estate Halcyon for 'dreamland.'

                          myself, and a member of the student's union. ah,
                          beaurocracy at work.

11/21/9 2:39 PM  peachpye I have published a few short stories in Literary
                          Journals and the like. Some work I did on a friend's
                          manuscript may get published ... he is being somewhat
                          courted right now.
                          Okay, enough about me, tell me about you! 

11/21/9 2:37 PM  peachpye Well, I have taken a few courses in which the prof has
                          highlighted the narrator's voice and the role it takes
                          in our perception of events. I had this idea for a
                          female character, but then a friend of mine suggested
                          that instead of writing her story from her eyes, it
                          would be interesting to write about her from an
                          outside perspective. It went from there.

11/21/9 2:33 PM  peachpye it is sort of odd. I have written mostly poetry and
                          plays before this, so I decided to try something new.
                          It is more a novella, about a man at the end of his
                          life, sifting through memories. He focuses on 1930's
                          Toronto, and the war. It deals with stuff like the
                          construction of memory and how we tell stories.
                          Riveting, eh? ;)

                          write a book ... or publishes the one I am working on.
                          Then open a small restaurant, keep writing ....
                          But, the realist in me is preparing for a career in PR
                          or journalism.
